Senior Manager, Accounting & Controls

Formic is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting & Controls to strengthen its accounting foundation during a period of growth. This role will focus on critical projects, process improvements, and partnering across the Finance organization to elevate accounting operations. You will maintain a strong internal control environment and serve as a liaison for cross-functional accounting initiatives.

• Support Formic through its first financial audit
• Own components of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare complex technical accounting transactions (ASC 606, 842, 718)
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control environment
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance data accuracy
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with a Top 10 public accounting firm
