Controller - Technical Accounting & Policy

As a Controller in Technical Accounting, you will be a key advisor on Cisco's most complex accounting matters, researching and documenting significant transactions. You will partner across finance and business units to ensure accurate accounting and SEC disclosures, influencing US GAAP application and gaining high visibility with senior leadership.

• Research, analyze, and document accounting for complex transactions under US GAAP
• Author technical accounting memos and position papers
• Consult with business partners on proposed transactions and accounting implications
• Monitor accounting standard-setting activity and lead implementation of new standards
• Develop, maintain, and communicate global accounting policies
• Partner with External Reporting and serve as a contact for external auditors
