Join Duke Energy's Plant Accounting and Reporting group as an Accounting Analyst. This role involves preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and supporting internal and external reporting for the company's fixed assets and related accounting functions. You will collaborate with various teams to support business transactions and analyze moderately complex property issues.

What we are looking for

Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis, and reporting for property accounts
Prepare AFUDC rates and analysis
Prepare cash flow workpapers and schedules for SEC financials
Prepare and review financial schedules for internal and external reporting, including FERC filings
Research GAAP and regulatory accounting issues
Support internal and external auditors
