Financial Accountant I

Texas A&M Engineering is seeking a Financial Accountant I to manage fixed asset records, inventory, and the university vehicle fleet. This role ensures compliance with state and university policies, involving auditing asset data, administering insurance, and providing guidance to departments.

• Maintain and update fixed asset records in FAMIS
• Audit and enter inventory and asset account data
• Administer equipment insurance coverage and claims
• Manage university fleet management program
• Provide customer service and guidance on asset management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
