Senior Accountant

Silgan Containers is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage fixed asset accounting and capital projects. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records through detailed capital job accounting, asset management, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting policies. You will also provide essential accounting support for health and welfare and other corporate accounts.

• Manage fixed asset accounting and capital project financial activities
• Prepare journal entries for asset additions, transfers, and disposals
• Ensure compliance with capitalization requirements and fixed asset policies
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports
• Support health and welfare accounting and annual budget preparation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4+ years of experience required
