Research Finance Senior Accountant

Brown University Health is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage research grants and contracts, including setup, oversight, and close-out. This role involves working with various finance departments, preparing financial reports for sponsors, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. You will collaborate with department managers and principal investigators to resolve financial issues and provide training on research finance policies.

• Maintain accounts and ledgers for research grants and contracts
• Prepare financial reports for federal and non-federal sponsors
• Review research grant expenditures for compliance
• Collaborate with department managers and PIs to resolve financial issues
• Provide training on Research Finance policies and procedures
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field plus 5-7 years experience in research accounting
