Tax Accountant

This role is responsible for preparing, filing, and analyzing various State and Local tax filings, including premium taxes and other insurance-related matters. You will ensure compliance with tax rules and financial reporting standards, and help optimize the company's tax position across multiple jurisdictions.

• Assist with multi-state insurance tax compliance and filing
• Analyze tax and financial statement implications of business activities
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Conduct tax research and communicate with stakeholders
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
