Accountant

Mastercard is seeking an Accountant in Pune, India, to manage direct and indirect tax compliance, accounting, reconciliations, and statutory reporting. This role ensures adherence to tax regulations and accounting standards while supporting audits and driving process improvements.

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, payments, filings, and reporting
• Perform accounting entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and review tax provisions and reconciliations
• Support statutory, internal, and external audits
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax laws, and accounting standards
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement
