Assistant Controller

North Star Resource Group is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee and assist with various accounting department processes. This role involves supervising staff, managing accounts payable/receivable, testing internal controls, and reconciling accounts.

• Oversee accounting department and internal auditing
• Supervise, train and mentor accounting staff
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows
• Test and maintain internal financial controls
• Reconcile complex bank and general ledger accounts
• Assist with tax preparation and filings
