Senior Accountant – External Financial Reporting & Benefits Accounting

Tyson Foods is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team. This role focuses on external financial reporting, including SEC filings and earnings materials, as well as benefits accounting for stock compensation, pensions, and health reserves. It's an opportunity to gain exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting within a large corporate setting.

• Assist in preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q)
• Support quarterly earnings releases and executive financial reporting
• Perform iXBRL research and tagging
• Account for benefit plans including stock-based compensation and pensions
• Assist with group health and self-insurance reserve calculations
• Understand and apply SOX 404 requirements and internal controls
