Staff Accountant

Pomelo Care is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team and help build a best-in-class accounting function. This role will support day-to-day financial activities, monthly reporting, and the implementation of accounting processes and systems. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of accounting experience and a desire to grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven virtual medical practice.

• Support day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL
• Assist with monthly financial closes and journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial systems
• Prepare monthly financial statements and close package reporting
• Partner to build and maintain accounting processes and internal controls
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 1-3 years of experience
