Accountant

Support key financial accounting and reporting activities within Associated Bank’s Corporate Controller’s Group. You’ll ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and effective internal controls while partnering with teams across the organization. This role offers opportunities to deepen your accounting expertise and build knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and banking regulations.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules
• Manage assigned general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Partner with internal teams to provide accounting guidance and resolve questions
• Prepare and review financial information for SEC filings and regulatory reporting
• Research GAAP, FASB, SEC, and banking regulations
