Accounting Specialist

Join Itron's Global Business Centre in Cork as an Accounting Specialist, where you will own or co-own accounting for EMEA entities. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with US and Local GAAP, and support audits, playing a key role in our mission to create a more resourceful world.

• Review and post month-end close transactions and P&L/balance sheet analysis
• Ensure financial records comply with US and Local GAAP
• Support SOX compliance and internal/external audits
• Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, and tax provision calculations
• Perform monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes
