Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Long-Term Care and Annuities operations by managing financial close processes, preparing journal entries, and conducting detailed financial analyses. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to significant projects, improve accounting processes, and develop expertise across multiple accounting bases and automated systems.

• Prepare financial close processes, journal entries, and financial analyses
• Perform accounting and control activities for IFRS17, OSFI, and NAIC results
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting across multiple bases and complex transactions
• Produce contributions to annual reporting, including audited financial statements
• Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials
• Support SOX/MAR and manage income statement testing
