Financial Accountant

Essity is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a 12-month maternity cover position at their Willerby site. This role involves overseeing complex financial operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS/local GAAP, and providing financial insights to support stakeholder decisions. The position requires a qualified accountant with strong General Ledger experience and proficiency in SAP.

• Oversee end-to-end General Ledger process
• Deliver accurate financial statements and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal controls
• Support and lead internal & external audits
• Act as a trusted advisor on complex accounting topics
• Drive quality and efficiency across accounting processes
