Budget Analyst

Florida Atlantic University seeks a Budget Analyst in Boca Raton, FL to assist in managing the university's $750M annual operating budget. This role involves data collection, budget software maintenance, approving new funds, and collaborating with financial managers to address budgetary needs and ensure compliance with policies.

• Assist in development, implementation, and daily management of the University's $750M annual operating budget
• Independently apply expert use of Excel; collect data and obtain extracts from the University’s ERP system
• Approve new budgetary funds and organizations, maintain hierarchy, and establish budgetary structure
• Analyze information and results, prepare financial, budgetary, and narrative reports and presentations
• Partner with and serve as a resource to University-wide financial managers in budget preparation and management
• Prepare high-quality presentations for senior leadership, including Board-level presentations
