Flagship is seeking a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end account management, ensuring timely closes, accurate reconciliations, and root cause analysis. This hands-on role involves working with Workday Financials across multiple entities and lines of business, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and improve finance processes.
What we are looking for 6
- Own assigned sections of the monthly close checklist and deliver them on schedule
- Prepare and review journal entries with complete support
- Prepare well-supported accruals across lines of business and corporate
- Own fixed asset accounting and lease accounting under ASC 842
- Prepare or support roll forwards for self-insured reserves
- Coach staff accountants and coordinate with offshore accounting team
