Financial Analyst 1

The University of Miami is seeking a Financial Analyst 1 to join their Business Operations Department. In this role, you will develop and analyze financial reports, manage operational accounts, and provide fiscal oversight for assigned cost centers. You will also train faculty and staff on financial systems and collaborate with departments on budget analysis and problem resolution.

• Develop, analyze, and maintain financial reports and budgets
• Manage and reconcile over fifty operational accounts
• Review and approve financial transactions including salary, expenses, and purchase orders
• Provide financial guidance and training to faculty and staff
• Oversee fiscal management for assigned cost centers
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
