Customer/Vendor Tax Analyst

Zayo is seeking a Customer/Vendor Tax Analyst to manage multi-state sales and use tax matters for both customers and vendors. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax laws, managing exemption certificates, and resolving tax inquiries. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external parties, gaining exposure to tax technology and process improvements.

• Manage customer tax exemption certificates and documentation
• Respond to customer tax inquiries and coordinate tax credits
• Review vendor invoices for correct sales and use tax treatment
• Assist with use tax reviews and vendor tax exemption certificates
• Partner with Sales, AR, AP, and Procurement teams on tax matters
• Support tax audits and tax technology enhancements
