Senior Accountant

WVU Medicine is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform a wide range of financial functions, including departmental analysis, reconciliations, billing, and budget support. This role involves maintaining the general ledger, leading month-end variance analysis, and overseeing accounting staff. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and three years of accounting experience.

• Perform financial functions to support WVU Medicine and budget process
• Conduct departmental analysis and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger and complete month-end processes
• Lead month-end variance analysis and review reconciliations
• Oversee and develop assigned Accounting Department staff
• Assist with budget and external audit support
