Senior JIB Accountant

Chord Energy is seeking an experienced Senior JIB Accountant to support our Operations Accounting Department. In this role, you will manage the monthly Joint Interest Billing process, resolve owner receivable balances, and prepare journal entries. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to mentor junior team members and drive process improvements.

• Assist with monthly Joint Interest Billing process
• Process monthly working interest changes and rebills
• Review and resolve working interest owner aging receivable balances
• Apply cash received to outstanding accounts receivables
• Prepare and record journal entries for monthly close
• Identify and assist in implementation of process improvement projects
