Accountant - Corporate Accounting

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is seeking an Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting and Compliance team. In this role, you will support daily accounting activities, ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and assist with compliance functions. • Perform general accounting activities including ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation
• Prepare journal entries, research accounting treatment, and identify/resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, Federal Reserve policies, and best practices
• Assist with SOX/COSO compliance functions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other departments
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience required
