Tax Accountant

Join Caterpillar's finance team as a Tax Accountant, where you will prepare tax workpapers, returns, and support global tax compliance and reporting. This role focuses on tax activities across Spain, Portugal, and Italy, with a specific emphasis on Spanish VAT and SII processes. You will collaborate with business partners and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.

• Prepare tax workpapers, returns, and provision support
• Support direct and indirect tax compliance for Spain, Portugal, and Italy
• Manage Spanish VAT and SII reporting processes
• Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
• Collaborate with internal business partners and external advisors
• Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation
