Staff Accountant

Southern Tide is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team at their Greenville, SC headquarters. This role will perform a variety of accounting functions, including maintaining accounting records for general accounting and cost systems, and will gain exposure to payroll taxes, sales commissions, import duties, and inventory. This is an in-office position.

• Perform month-end closing, account analysis, and journal entries
• Analyze financial statement variances and trends
• Prepare and reconcile accounts, including inventory and bank accounts
• Process accounts payable transactions
• Observe and reconcile physical inventory
• Monitor retail credit card and cash activity
