Senior Analyst - Accounting and Financial Reporting

TIAA is seeking a Senior Analyst to support statutory accounting and financial reporting for insurance and reinsurance operations. This role involves managing the general ledger close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and performing reconciliations to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.

• Participate in close process for insurance and reinsurance activities
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain strong internal controls over accounting workflows
• Implement efficiency improvements in reporting and reconciliation processes
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit requests
• Prepare disclosures for annual statements and financial statements
