Manulife and John Hancock is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support high-quality closing operations, financial reporting, and accounting operations based on JGAAP and IFRS. This role involves supporting accurate and timely closing processes, analysis, and accounting technical matters, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Support quarterly and annual closing (JGAAP and IFRS)
• Prepare journal entries and analyze balance sheets/income statements
• Identify and proactively resolve accounting issues
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of JGAAP and IFRS
• Collaborate with Reporting team for management and statutory reporting
