Controller

Core One is seeking a Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and government contract compliance for its Strategic Services Division. This role ensures adherence to U.S. GAAP, FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements, overseeing all financial operations and partnering with executive leadership. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in government contracting, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

• Lead accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, cash, and project accounting
• Oversee financial close, prepare financial statements per U.S. GAAP, and ensure revenue recognition for government contracts
• Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA, and federal acquisition requirements
• Manage indirect cost structures, provisional billing rates, and incurred cost submissions
• Serve as primary financial contact for DCAA, DCMA, and external auditors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and pricing activities
