Property Accountant

Colliers is seeking a remote Property Accountant to support their East Coast Client Accounting team. This role involves preparing financial reports, managing general ledger accounts, and assisting with month-end closing processes for a local property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of property accounting experience in commercial real estate and proficiency with accounting software.

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end closing
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation
• Complete monthly reporting and assist with audit processes
• Coordinate integration of new properties into accounting workflow
• Oversee accuracy and productivity of accounting and financial activities
• Minimum 2+ years of progressive property accounting experience in commercial real estate
