Accounting Specialist

The North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their Financial Section. This role involves processing daily financial transactions, reconciling deposits, managing accounts receivable, and assisting with collections. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Process daily financial transactions including ACH and credit card deposits
• Reconcile financial systems and reports
• Manage accounts receivable and process collections
• Import ACH and check returns for collection processing
• Dispute chargebacks and resolve customer payment issues
• Maintain detailed tracking logs for financial activities
