Financial Accountant (x|w|m)

Sartorius is seeking a Financial Accountant for their Goettingen location, with a temporary contract until September 2028. This role focuses on the digitalization and automation of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations. You will ensure tax compliance and support audits, contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

• Process and book incoming invoices with and without purchase order reference
• Prepare and execute payment runs
• Clarify open items and discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments
• Handle surety bonds, retention amounts, and exemption certificates
• Support digital transformation and automation of accounting processes
• Optimize existing workflows and propose improvements
