Controller

Profluent, an AI-first protein design company, seeks a senior Controller to lead its accounting function during a high-growth phase. This builder role involves owning the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, technical accounting, equity, treasury, and compliance. You will design and implement systems and controls for a future public company and manage the transition from QuickBooks to a scalable solution.

• Own full accounting function from close to technical accounting
• Design and implement systems, controls, and processes for a public company
• Manage R&D accounting, including CRO accruals and program cost tracking
• Oversee equity accounting and plan administration
• Lead external audits and manage tax compliance
• Implement finance technology and treasury operations
