Financial Analyst, General Accounting

CIBC is seeking a Financial Analyst for their General Accounting team in Toronto. This role involves performing accurate accounting entries, managing intercompany billing, and reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts. The analyst will act as a subject matter expert in general accounting, support audits, and ensure timely financial information delivery.

• Perform accurate and timely accounting entries to the general ledger
• Manage complete cycle of intercompany billing and settlement processes
• Facilitate banking, funding and reconciliation of bank and suspense accounts
• Support general balance sheet reconciliation and various control framework
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with CPA or working towards designation
