Finance/Grant Accountant

GCU is seeking a Finance/Grant Accountant to manage the financial post-award aspects of grants, gifts, and other revenue. This role involves accounting, reporting, and compliance activities to ensure accurate financial records and adherence to policies and regulations. You will collaborate with various university departments and contribute to process improvements.

• Manage financial post-award aspects of grants
• Support accounting for gifts, pledges, and other revenue
• Review financial transactions and ensure proper coding
• Perform month-end close activities and reconciliations
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls
