Financial Reporting and Cost Accountant

As a Financial Reporting and Cost Accountant at Tempurpedic, you will perform a variety of general accounting activities, including account reconciliations, month-end closing, and cost allocation. You will ensure all accounting work adheres to GAAP and assist with financial reporting compliance for Sarbanes Oxley and SEC requirements. This role offers an opportunity to identify and implement process improvements and support special projects.

• Perform general accounting activities including AR/AP, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Conduct account reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and SEC requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience required
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and CPA preferred
