Cost Accountant

Kion SCS is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their US Operations Finance team in Grand Rapids, MI. This hybrid role supports manufacturing facilities, offering exposure to management and opportunities for career growth within the finance department. The position involves managing costs, inventory, and financial analysis for the plant.

• Manage costs, inventory, and metrics in manufacturing plants
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to plant leadership
• Develop factory financials including forecasts, budgets, and standard costs
• Ensure accuracy in standard costs and analyze variances
• Support daily costing processes and annual standard cost setting
• Coordinate with Plant Manager to drive SQDC mentality and communicate financial performance
