Accountant

Salisbury University is seeking an experienced Accountant to provide advanced, strategic professional support for its business operations. This role will assist in ensuring compliance with accounting principles and university policies, serving as a subject matter expert in general accounting functions and providing advisory support to the Comptroller and other stakeholders.

• Assist with all general accounting activities including customer accounts, accounts payable, and state treasury management
• Contribute to strategic financial decision-making and process improvements
• Serve as a subject matter expert in general accounting functions
• Provide advisory and consulting support to the Comptroller and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in accounting or audit
