Financial Reporting & Analysis Senior Accountant

Plante Moran is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Internal Accounting department in Southfield, Michigan. This role focuses on financial reporting, preparing journal entries, financial statements, and performing variance analysis. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Prepare journal entries and supporting workpapers
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Perform analytical review of variances
• Prepare management reports and ad hoc analysis
• Assist with tax preparation and external audit support
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or tax
