Controller

Hark, an AI company, seeks an experienced Controller to build and scale its accounting function from the ground up. This role involves owning the full accounting operation, including close, compliance, technical accounting, tax, and international expansion, while establishing systems, a team, and processes for significant growth. It's a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in creating new playbooks.

• Own full accounting close process (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Build scalable chart of accounts, internal controls, and policies
• Lead technical accounting for complex areas (ASC 606, 718, 842)
• Manage external auditors and annual audit process
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and expense management
• Lead international accounting and tax operations for global expansion
