Budget Analyst

Marylandconnect is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the Budget Office at Bowie State University. This role involves managing daily budget operations, assisting in budget development, preparing financial reports, and reconciling transactions. The analyst will also conduct budget training and manage special project budgets.

• Assist in managing day-to-day budget operations
• Assist in the development of the University’s operational budget
• Prepare monthly budget reports and analytical data
• Review departmental budget transactions and answer inquiries
• Conduct monthly budget meetings with managers
• Maintain position control and manage Workday inbox
