Controller

Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a Controller to lead and oversee the firm's accounting function, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role involves managing the general ledger, financial close, reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls. As part of the Finance leadership team, you will develop the accounting team, drive process improvements, and collaborate on strategic initiatives.

• Lead full accounting function including general ledger, monthly close, and reconciliations
• Oversee preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
• Manage banking activities and cash forecasting
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team
• Assess and optimize workflows using automation and technology
• Provide accounting leadership for ERP configurations and client trust accounting
