About this role

This role focuses on the accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of capital expenditures for oil sands assets. You will be responsible for preparing accruals, journal entries, and detailed variance analyses, collaborating with business partners to ensure data integrity and provide insightful commentary for financial reporting.

What we are looking for

Prepare and analyze monthly capital accruals for Oil Sands properties
Perform monthly cost and variance analysis with clear explanations
Partner with business to set up and review WBS elements and AFEs
Support Monthly Performance Management Reporting (PMR) requirements
Prepare and post journal entries for accurate financial reporting
Liaise with tax and audit teams for capital expenditure inquiries
