Sr. Financial Analyst, Accounting

CIBC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to manage end-to-end IFRS16 lease accounting, including contract interpretation, ROU asset/liability schedules, and financial reporting. This role also supports the financial close process and general accounting functions, requiring judgment in applying accounting standards and controls.

• Manage IFRS16 lease accounting, including contract interpretation and ROU asset/liability schedules
• Support financial close process and perform general accounting functions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and 3rd party lease administrators
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, controls, and SOX requirements
• Utilize Oracle, Data Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, or Tableau
• Requires CPA designation or working towards it with 5+ years of experience
