Senior Accountant, Temp

The Allen Institute for AI is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant for a 9-month contract. This role involves a broad range of accounting functions, including month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, grant accounting, and compliance reporting within a complex nonprofit environment. The ideal candidate will have strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage grant accounting and support audits
• Prepare compliance reporting and tax filings
• Assist with accounts payable and expense allocation
• Identify and implement process improvements
