Senior Accountant, US Federal Tax

KBR is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its U.S. Federal Tax team. This role supports U.S. federal income tax compliance, including provision calculations, return preparation, analysis, and research. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate tax reporting and maintain compliance in a dynamic multinational environment.

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual U.S. federal income tax provision calculations
• Assist with the preparation and review of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns
• Analyze tax accounts and prepare account reconciliations
• Perform tax research and analysis related to federal tax law changes
• Support responses to tax authority inquiries, audits, and information requests
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting, and operational efficiency
