Accountant

Abbott is seeking a motivated Accountant to join their Finance team in Ireland. This role supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis, while also serving as the Site Customs Coordinator to ensure trade compliance. The ideal candidate will partner with various departments to provide financial insights and maintain customs processes.

• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports and variance analysis
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory performance, and operational KPIs
• Act as the site's Customs Coordinator and subject matter expert
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export requirements
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement on customs issues
