Senior Accountant

L.A. Darling Company, a Marmon Holdings subsidiary backed by Berkshire Hathaway, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage accounting policies, systems, and financial reporting. This role oversees daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and inventory costing, and supports month-end closing activities.

• Establish and coordinate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Develop accounting and management information systems
• Formulate uniform, consistent, and timely financial reporting
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, Payroll, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Tax reporting, Reconciliations, Accruals, and Inventory
• Analyze and evaluate financial and operational data
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
