Financial Controller

Ontic is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial accounting and control activities for its Bishops Cleeve site. This role offers the opportunity to own the financial control environment, enhance month-end processes, and shape how Finance operates as the business grows. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while driving continuous improvement and supporting operational teams.

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting for the Bishops Cleeve site
• Own and develop the financial control framework and Balance Sheet integrity
• Drive process improvements and implement practical solutions
• Manage site cash, VAT, and Fixed Assets activities
• Oversee external audit relationships and support a Financial Accountant
• Possess a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA) and strong technical accounting knowledge
