Join The AES Corporation as a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting, where you will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting external financial reports for AES Ohio and its parent company. This position ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, collaborating with various teams to maintain the integrity of our financial reporting processes and drive operational excellence.

What we are looking for

Prepare and file SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and utility-specific regulatory filings
Draft and review financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A
Lead XBRL tagging and review process
Monitor new SEC regulations and accounting pronouncements
Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with SOX Section 404
