Financial Specialist

As a Financial Specialist, you will perform routine accounting and auditing duties, ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. You will analyze financial information, forecast accounts to prevent deficits, and approve financial and payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with ASU and sponsor requirements. This role involves preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing guidance on administrative post-award documents.

• Analyze and prepare financial reports for standard and sponsored accounts
• Forecast accounts to avoid deficits and support decision-making
