Senior Accountant

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform a variety of financial activities including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, and collections. This role involves account reconciliation, cost accounting, budgeting, preparing financial reports, and maintaining the general ledger. You will assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, reconciling account balances, and preparing month-end close reporting and analysis.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Reconcile account balances and prepare month-end journal entries
• Prepare month-end close reporting and analysis
• Assist with year-end audit, benefit plan audits, and tax filings
• Supervise and train staff accountants
• Communicate with department managers and operations teams
